Let the man drive the damn trains.

If he can pass all the training and safety certifications (and I’ve absolutely no doubt he’d ace them all) then you’ve got someone who will actually give a fuck about their job and love it while getting to help people.

It genuinely seems that the only reason that he isn't hired and is instead in prison is so the system can abuse a neurodivergent man for kicks.

Litterally no reason but cruelty to handle the situation the way it has been

They'll use him when it's convenient for their own purposes. It seems like a self perpetuating cycle where he can't be hired because he has a "criminal" record which then leads to him just seeking it out even more leading to an arrest leading to yet another "criminal" record which he won't be hired. The man is a goddamn national treasure and should be allowed to do what he loves and all the power to him for continuing to seek out his dream despite how cruel the system has been to him.

the worst part of that is that after he helped them they punished him for it by placing him in solitary confinement because the cops he helped reccomended it

I think I have memories coming back from a chapo episode long ago. Wasn't it because the cops said that his extensive knowledge of the city's transportation infrastructure would make him a possible asset to terrorists?

            Edit: yep

So he shouldn't be driving the trains, he should be running the fucking ops centre.

Just briefly read the wiki on him and he first got into driving them when some workers let him as a kid.

One time he got arrested for having the keys when some workers gave them to him and gave him their shifts??? Also he knows how to operate the trains and follows all the procedures but has gotten rejected when he applies, possibly because of the previous arrests? He was first arrested when he was 15 so I think that has something to do with it.

Also his parents think moving out of NYC would help with resisting the temptation but for parole he isn't allowed to :/

Shit situation, let him drive he doesn't even bother commuters

Right like when he gets arrested hes literally performing free labor and doing it correctly

Edit: he even knows how to sign things out properly and took some trains for maintenance like he just loves trains

Overwhelming public pressure forces them to hire him as a conductor.

I'm lathing this as hard as I can.
