This is somehow even dumber when you know what he’s talking about.

Yeah, I think this is haz saying that the CPC (Canada, not China for those wondering) is under attack by woke people (the seeming majority of the CPCs members) who are upset that the leadership of the party was covering up sexual harassment, as well as kicking out those who vocally oppose it (for “factionalism”).

Edit: The leadership of the CPC is acting like they are the politburo in The death of Stalin except it’s not funny because it’s real life.

They're claiming it's "professionally organized" and a "color revolution" to checks notes publicly say the party leadership broke their own code of conduct and party laws to cover up one of their members doing sexual harrassment, since said person was on track to be the next leader of the party. This isn't the only time they've covered up harrassment and protected the harasser, they've done it at least one other time. They also expelled members who spoke up about it with no warning, just refused to let them enter meetings discussing the situation on the grounds that they weren't members anymore, which again breaks their own code of conduct.

I've met some really great comrades who do really great work in the rank and file, but the party leadership who are doing this are a bunch of larpy clowns

Yeah, long story short their central organizer got credibly accused of sexually harrassing a member much younger than him and also attempting to bring them home heavily intoxicated after being told to bring them to a train station instead.

Their Central Executive Committee investigated and found the accusations to be true so suspended him for 3 months and prohibited him from being in contact with any of the CPC youth league(A prohibition he seems to have ignored and not been punished for) without informing his own club or anyone else of the full details of the situation. The victim struggles for a while to get justice inside of the party before publicly leaving and making a full statement on this, followed by CEC loyalists mocking and abusing him on twitter, making comments about "factionalism" or "soft coups" because of his statements including a demand of the full recall of the CEC, citing specific parts of the party constitution.

Also making disgusting mocking tweets like comparing almost being raped by a party superior to being mad about going to a gay bar and being flirted with. The perpetrator resigned only after all of this came to light and began reflecting poorly on the party leadership.
