He sucks, but is legitimately helpful for like 60% of men. It's calendar wisdom and some psycho therapy wrapped up in a patriarchal package so men will swallow it when they otherwise would ignore their moms.

Yeah. But that intuitively makes sense, people don't like mess and garbage. JBP heads just don't want to listen to the people on their life who are telling them to clean it because they refuse to listen to a woman and many have strained or non existent relationships with their dad.

Yeah exactly. But then he leads them down the alt right rabbit hole...

We need leftist himbos/ gym dudebros to tell people to exercise, clean their rooms, and take control of their lives, well, at least as much control as you can take in this shitty capitalist world. Which is very little most of the times unfortunately, but little is better than none

If you're a white man, you can take a decent amount of control over your life. Especially if you come from a background with a bit of money. I'm not talking wealthy, just enough that car problems are a nuisance and not a catastrophe.

I see some newly single people looking for a monetarily responsible partner.

I'm not that, but i'm certainly better

I only spend my money on food and anime merchandise. Stupid perhaps, but a guaranteed return of I spend 35 bucks on a little statue, I then look at the statue and am happy. Ladies, form a line.

My cousin's bf got into crypto and she joined him now.

I think they ruined their career they were starting together by gambling all their money away. I think they live with the bf's dad now.

      I tried to warn them that's it's a scam, wouldn't listen

Better than drinking it away I guess, though I'm not sure, at least alcohol is actually real :shrug-outta-hecks:

Am so happy of living in a small town of a country where every tech fad gets late cuz only now my town friends are talking about crypto and I can say "it's fucking crashing, millions of people are losing money in that scam, it's not even worth as long-time inflation-defeating saving"

South Africa is kinda like this, but also different. Like if you're rich and have internet access you can jump on all the latest American and European trends, for better or worse.

When the "two slurp juices for one Ape" thing started trending on SA twitter I knew it was over lol.

Ah of course, I know argie crypto dipshits since 2013 but they were the rich kids who knew enough english and computers. Later, a dipshit in my own fucking town had a mining rig for some fucking reason, according to my town friends who follow each other's instagrams. So hey, maybe I'll buy a cheap graphic card from him. I only need the rest of the desktop computer now.

The rich dipshits setting up mining rigs is just :chefs-kiss:

Apparently according to someone I know, one of them got kicked out of university accomodation here for hiding a mining rig in their dorm and shooting the electricity bill though the roof lol.

a lot of nftbros just want friends. to them, its essentially paying a bunch of money to join a discord server where everyone treats you like an old friend

either just buying a ton of them and never seeing the opportunity to sell because there isn't one (essentially beanie babies) or buying a ton and then selling them when you're 10% in the negative or 5% in the positive and going "just a few more tries and eventually ill get on at the right time and randomly become rich"

exactly the same as any other gambling addiction. slowly whittling away every bit of money through big losses and less big wins
