      I do recall seeing some (twitter) 'analysis' which put forth parallax effect or something to explain the perception of extreme speed using a moving camera & target across a stationery background

        I want to believe, but if i think about it military personnel are basically the last person I'd trust with telling me the truth with something like this

          I mean not sure why they'd lie about it though. They could just be grifting but the UFO grifter market is already saturated and I don't see them writing any books about it.
