Like I'm a socialist and all. But how could the DPRK send an entire family to life imprisonment for being Christian.

Especially since the DPRK has a bunch of Christian churches. The evil North Korean authorities would just need to have to hide in front of the church on a Sunday, maybe like behind a bush, and after people leave the church, go "surprise motherfucker, your whole family is getting life imprisonment."

The thing that bothers me is that you can get the death penalty for having the bible. BUT since the Bible is everywhere,

you'd just be minding your own business, looking at a Bible at the church or in a book store, and the insidious North Korean secret police (unlike good American police who are always in plain view) would come from behind a counter and just shoot you. This is what the State Department has reported, and I'm shocked.

When I read the American government report that they sent that 2 year old to a life of hard labour for having Christian parents. Wow guys, I can't believe the DPRK would do such a thing. Honestly how much cobalt is a 2 year old gonna mine? North Korea must be pretty desperate, because you'd have to be at least 13 to do that job in America. It's a good thing that America only has "penal labor" and not "hard labor" for 1 million convicts.

I remember in the 90s everybody would congratulate themselves with pats on the backs and awards and shit for their amazing knowledge about China/Cuba/NK publicly executing Christians and other facts like that Christians had to do underground railroad type stuff to read Bibles, and lots of stories stolen from Holocaust survivors but Jews and Germany are replaced with Christians and China.

But these days you can goto wikipedia and see China has megachurches and multiple denominations and shit.
