So I have a basic hanging feeder in an admittedly not ideal location in my backyard (Not in the most open/visible area), that had food in it and was being eaten out of, but was then empty for a few months due to laziness. I finally got back around to filling it again about a week or 2 ago, but so far nobody seems to have taken a gulp from it. So I was wondering if maybe it might take a little for the local population to relearn that there's actually food there again now instead of it being empty? Do hummingbirds migrate and maybe they're just gone from the area rn? I'm also using a different nectar than I was (Was red, now purple), might that have something to do with it?
