I fucking loved banging out breakfast - it was great to get in the flow and work hard. Even better I loved making staff meal - go figure when you're feeding people you share camaraderie with it doesn't feel alienated. It's just the abusive environment and tension of opposed interests with management - especially resulting in untenable hours and demands of a skeleton staff - that made it suck.
