It’s crazy how much the people who designed our electoral system just did not understand the system they were designing. They understood the broad strokes, but there are so many little cases like this. Some of the founding fathers were legitimately convinced that it was possible to avoid political factions. And then they made voting First Past The Post, which pretty much guarantees a two party system full of strategic voters.

This video is bad though since it doesn't manage to think about what we actually want to achieve. Also it is quite easy to share fairly as fair for two people isn't everyone gets the same, but everyone gets the same-ish and are happy with it.
I am happy with a bite of strawberry cake cause it is too much elsewhile, I am happy with choosing which half of the pizza my brother cut to take, etc.
