I will post mine in the morning I don't have a photo and it's too dark to take one. Good thread idea though.

I do wonder how many people will own up to their racecar chairs though.

I sit on a wooden bench. It's actually better for posture than the G*mer standard. :joker-gaming:

What I've read is that the healthiest thing to do is split your day 50/50 between standing and sitting, so I kind of try to keep that in mind as a target and alternate between standing at my desk and sitting in a chair. If I've been walking all day I'll sit more than stand to even it out, but most days I sit at work/school and stand at home which feels like it breaks even. In any event I've had back and hip pains at different times in my life but not any since i started doing this, so I think it works.

As for why i use specifically this mat, it's because i got it for free lol.

yeah i like it. sitting all day is bad, so is standing all day - so i shoot for about 50/50 of each which prevents strain from accumulating on just one part of my body.

That is actually a cool chair tho. Right now I've got a chair that genuinely belongs in like, a reception area at a doctors office. It has a stainless steel frame, green quilted cushioning & wood-paneled arm-rests. It doesn't even have wheels. I think somebody picked it up from a thrift store or something.

I want to replace it with a literal sofa on spinny wheels but can't find something. I don't think what I want exists below £500 :/

Tempted to make my own and see if others will buy it.

I am fascinated with imagining what you're talking about now rofl. I can't figure it out.

Either way yes, I want what I can only describe as a dreadnought-class office chair. I'm super done with these spindly skeleton shaped things. If it doesn't exist at a decent price I imagine someone would want to buy it, I don't know how hard shipping such large objects is though. The shipping is probably the main reason all these chairs are shaped like spindly things these days, they need to be flat packable.
