The difference was DS9 was believable as star trek. Whatever Disco is, it isn't star trek, it's the Michael Burnham show. /Who by the way, murdered someone and faced no consequences, doesn't sound much like star trek to me.
I think this is about the new new star trek show, strange new worlds. It actually has a lot of the older star trek vibes back! It's very episodic, each episode is sort of a little morality tale. I really hope they return to 20 episode seasons for it, lol.
What sucks about having nu trek(and the star wars sequels also) is basically the same as what sucks about hating Joe Biden and the democrats. People always say they suck cause they're woke, the real problem is they aren't woke enough.
