    At one point they were set on buying a compound in the Colorado Rockies. They'd have been at like 10.5k' in elevation, where the roads are inaccessible September-June, in a deeply conservative part of the state. At that altitude hypoxia causes an uptick in mental illness and suicidality.

    It would have created the perfect conditions for this. If they weren't feds I'd like to take them hiking that high in like May with the warning that the snows are so deep walking near trees might be like quicksand.
