That building is weird. Filled with mostly fast food and access to the L.
My question is, what happens to that L access once the building's privatized?
I have not lived in Chicago for a long time and never really used the line that station hit. But i recall it's kinda in but also out side of the building? I think it might be right besides it and i might be mistaking the dmv on the bottom floor for the L entrance.
The station is connected to the Thomspon Center on one side; my concern is if Google decides to not allow people in to that side or if it tries to monetize people getting in there to use the trains. But really I'm just doom-speculating.
That's the Clark/Lake transfer station, every line in the city but the red runs throughout it, it's the single busiest station on CTA, there's no way the city would allow Google to restrict access, there would be riots.
Yeah im sure that is already figured out and part of the sale, is it sale or lease?
My guess is what you will see is Google beautify the spot and that station. It's basically a perk for tech bros. A station right at your work. Just like addidson is a perk for cubs fan. I only have to drunkingly stumble so far.
Its a sale to a real estate holding firm as the actual property owner, with Google being the primary tenant.
Ah. My guess is the L part of the sale is figured out.
But i mean Daley did give away the meters to the sauds for a quick couple mil so who knows
