        I don't think the momentum can be recreated. In 2014 every "apolitical" gamer had their inner chud activated Manchurian Candidate style and they've just remained loudly and proudly right-wing ever since with most normal people doing their best to ignore them. There's now an established subculture of cranky reactionary nerds for anyone who leans that way
