They seem to be treating the fact that the Nazis killing certain people as proof that they were either bad or that they failed in their efforts and should be looked down upon for that failure whereas those who survived should be admired.
I guess the heroes who died in the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising should be looked upon with derision because tens of thousands of them got killed by the Nazis but meanwhile the kapos in the camps survived the longest and they often got the chance to live long enough to participate in the reconstruction of post-war Germany so y'know... best to stop resisting fascism and to start collaborating since the most important thing to do is not to have history vindicate your position posthumously but instead to chase the approval of a group of people who learn history through vicariously skim-reading Wikipedia entries.
