Examples of racism/euro-centrism during the Russia-Ukraine conflict
Add to the above list if you can, thank you.
Resources For Understanding The War Beyond The Bulletins
Defense Politics Asia's youtube channel and their map, who is an independent youtuber with a mostly neutral viewpoint.
Moon of Alabama, which tends to have good analysis (though also a couple bad takes here and there)
Understanding War and the Saker: neo-conservative sources but their reporting of the war (so far) seems to line up with reality better than most liberal sources.
Alexander Mercouris, who does daily videos on the conflict and, unlike most western analysts, has some degree of understanding on how war works. He is a reactionary, however.
On the ground: Patrick Lancaster, an independent journalist reporting in the Ukrainian warzones.
Unedited videos of Russian/Ukrainian press conferences and speeches.
Telegram Channels
Again, CW for anti-LGBT and racist, sexist, etc speech, as well as combat footage.

Last week's discussion post.

There’s also The Duran, although I will warn you they are conservatives - however that rarely comes up and they mostly discuss geopolitics in a realist sense very soberly, and they mostly have the facts of the situation correct. You can tell they like Xi, Putin, Orban and dislike neocon imperialists and liberals.
Honestly, I’m surprised Alexander Mercouris is a conservative and not a Marxist with the way that he breaks things down into a materialist analysis and often talks about material conditions in the west, shifts in society based on economic shifts, etc. Sometimes he randomly inserts some harebarined conservative economic analysis, but he’s not bigoted as far as I have seen in the social sense.
Weird. Idk, I want to know the anti-imperialism is coming from a place of anti-capitalism.
Yeah it’s just interesting to hear it from another perspective and realize we aren’t crazy. There is a material reality we are both seeing that the capitalist center is gaslighting us about.
I would say they are old school paleo-cons or isolationist nationalists, or I guess just non-imperialist conservatives. I wouldn't say they are fascists.
