How was DeGaule visit and speech in Quebec seen by the rest of Canada and the world? I mean sure Canada didnt start testing ICBM's and aiming them at france, but things must have been pretty weird for a while. (Back in H.S., the only thing we're told is that the guy came, did a cool speech and left).

    De Gaulle is known for saying some vague stuff. If you hear the whole VLQL speech it's not really explicitly about Quebec independence
