Given how Fascism and Communism share the same "Totalitarian" government type (because Swedish game devs), it makes sense. Also makes sense that it has a bunch of Nazis.
"I haven't read a history book, but I have read ABOUT a history book..."

The Russo-Ukrainian conflict really blew the lid off of "people, not government" (even if that's still nominally the line) but it's been always hiding in the background with the War on Terror and tension with China.
Defending communism by writing off the USSR as a uniquely Russian distortion?
Guess it’s Eurocomm hours
Stalin shouldn't have stopped until he reached Kamchatka from the east
Reminds me of a similar "debate" in the comments section of an AltHist video dealing with a scenario where the Nationalists won in the Chinese Civil War. Since the video (correctly) points out China wouldn't be a wholesome big chungus liberal republic in this case, the commenters decided it was because the Chinese brainpan simply is incompatible with democracy.
The Mongols were such effective conquerors that there’s still people malding
this is funny because one of the foundations of the Russian national identity is being oppressed by Mongols (they still call that time period "The Mongol Yoke") and then unifying and beating their ass in battle
but whatever I'm sure these guys who went to the Heinrich Himmler School for Slavic Studies know what they are talking about
Tell that to a :ukkkraine: nationalist, sit back, and enjoy the hilarious reaction.
