          Yeah, abandoning your friends with no notice is always a shitty move. At the same time, based on what people have said I'm guessing he had a schizophrenic episode (I have relatives with schizophrenia who've had similar arcs) or some other mental health crisis so even if it's frustrating, it's just a sad situation all around.

            I imagine it was just him dropping off the map. It hurts when an old friend ghosts on you. Wouldn't be surprised if they even offered him his old spot back and he turned them down.
