Yeah I don't know if that's the common read or not but it's cool to hear him shout it out directly like that. I bashed Atlanta out in a week earlier this summer and the Sopranos connection was mentioned somewhere (here??) and it was hard not to draw the explicit parallels afterwards - dream logic, cultures on the periphery, the comedies of the failure of the American dream.
