The US also sent at least 500 troops to Somalia recently and that doesn't even include all the contractors and shit plus all the other units already in or around Somalia or other African countries. Like hardly any media covers it more than just the announcement that some troops are getting/got deployed there. It's kinda hard to find good info about a lot of it for me
