There's a world of difference between a Picasso and one of now hundreds of "gotcha" pieces like a can of shit with a label on it to dab on the buyer and the credulous spectators.
I can see some valid frustration and grievance with the now-stale side of contemporary art that's been basically saying "fuck you, pay me" but without the usual proletarian charm to the message if the can of shit is a money laundering method for the buyer and trader.
That said, fuck the contemporary reactionary demand for roughly the same painting hundreds if not thousands of times. It's like weebs that keep demanding roughly the same show but with color swaps on the hair and some slight shuffling of who is the yandere, who is the tsundere, and who looks like a child but is actually centuries old and what mix of vampire/demon/angel/succubus/dragon made that possible again. :pathetic:
