I'm no fan of Dugin or National Bolshevik Party or whatever the heck his ideology is these days, but I do think the extent to which he's called "Putin's Brain" is really exaggerated. I wonder if the car bomb was meant for him.

It ideologically doesn't make any sense nor can it work in real world conditions, yet some folks - in the void caused by the fall of the USSR - cling onto it as a possible viable alternative to the current state of Russia. It's like supposedly local fascists orgs in Russia hate him, the communists seem ambivalent leaning to hating/disliking him, conservatives think he's like hot shit since it's essentially soviet nostalgia but for the russian people instead of the soviet peoples. or something like that.
