I'm no fan of Dugin or National Bolshevik Party or whatever the heck his ideology is these days, but I do think the extent to which he's called "Putin's Brain" is really exaggerated. I wonder if the car bomb was meant for him.

      like a conservative who believes "Communism for me, but not for thee" like it's fucking weird. It ideologically doesn't make any sense nor can it work in real world conditions, yet some folks - in the void caused by the fall of the USSR - cling onto it as a possible viable alternative to the current state of Russia. Instead of actually turning back to communism weird enough.

          or make up theory to read. I couldn't really say since my info's more second hand from someone who actually spent time reading dugin's stuff to figure out wtf he's on about. It's like supposedly local fascists orgs in Russia hate him, the communists seem ambivalent leaning to hating/disliking him, conservatives think he's like hot shit since it's essentially soviet nostalgia but for the russian people instead of the soviet peoples. or something like that.
