If pending US efforts on renewable energy are extraordinary, the revolution under way in China is truly staggering. Last year the US boasted that it was on track to deploy about 30 gigawatts of new renewables. In China, the figure could be as high as 180 gigawatts. Last year China alone accounted for 46 per cent of the world’s new construction of renewable energy infrastructure.

“There are no climate deniers in China, or at least no climate deniers who are allowed to have a voice,” McGregor says. “You can tell that very easily because China’s official media is not full of people denying climate change. The Propaganda Ministry doesn’t allow voices which question science.”

      I feel the same way

The Hong Kong protesters were my first wake up call, seeing them wearing MAGA hats was a very :fry: moment for me

For some time I wasn't equipped to make sense of it let alone understand the truth but luckily I found my way here and I'm grateful to all of our comrades here who guided me in the right direction

Oh yeah, COVID really opened my eyes too

They actually handled the problem and continue to do so while here in :amerikkka: we've been getting everything wrong from day one and continued to do so no matter which party is in charge, we're just pretending that it's over while a new plague blossoms

The pandemic also made me realize just how shit the democrats are

I always knew they were shit but I also would reliably :vote: because I thought they would at least get a few basics right and they failed to even do the bare minimum

Now I feel completely :jokerfied: and the very notion of my :vote: meaning anything in this broken system is hilarious :i-voted:

History is me remembering the liberalism of my past, and the future is me remembering the liberalism of my present.

Liberals think this is a bad thing.

China is selfishly trying to prevent the death of billions of future human beings and animals.
