The Castro Merchants Association said some of the homeless people in the streets outside their stores had been harassing customers and needed help. They need shelter and/or services and they need them immediately.
Sounds like the Daily Mail is deliberately painting the shop owners as being way more chuddy than their actual statement supports.
Looks like the business owners made the least bad statement they could have and the DM is turning it into some anti-woke culture war bullshit.

Don't conservatives love people who litter and harass people. aren't conservatives the same people who love littering and harassing people because it's "manly"? So why are they complaining that there are people who are carrying out their values?
