    I've never had a problem stretching monthlies - provided I take them out every night and let them sit in contact solution. Sleeping in them is what gets me :rage-cry:

    Is it really a thing that you can wear a pair too long? Mine always get torn or scratched in a few months so I have to replace them. I never do it sooner than that though.

      You're only supposed to wear them for like a month (unless they're dailies in which case... daily), I think because the pores in them get clogged with proteins and don't allow enough oxygen to reach your eye, which results in vascularization as capillaries start to grow where you don't want capillaries growing which can cause... problems

      any eye doctors in the room plz correct me but this is what I found so I think that is at least part of why you shouldn't do that

      I uh, wear mine for many many months and replace them if I start to notice issues because, as said, I'm not made of contact/eye doctor money

      edit: if your eye doctor hasn't mentioned neovascularization as a problem you might be fine with what you're doing but, uh, mine has
