I think that there's a huge overlap between very religious people and neurodivergence. Like it's pretty easy to see how monastic life would appeal to autistic people. If I wasn't an atheist and they took trans girls it would probably be great for me lol.

I think everyone else already told you this, but never tell your employer anything about your medical history or health unless you need an accomodation or time off. There is literally no benefit to doing this. Especially when it's something highly stigmatized, like NPD.
If they ask during a job interview, you need to be ready to lie.

So I tried dating t4t poly dating for the first time, and it's been like kind of a mess.
Basically when I told my friend about the person I was dating, he warned me saying that his ex had had a bad experience with her. I asked her about this, and she told me a different version of the sorry, and that the friend's ex had been spreading rumors about my date for years to cover up her own abuse.
So both the person I was dating and the accuser are poly. I was contacted by other partners of both of these people to support their partner and tell me bad things abpit the other person. There is apparently a lot of history here. I have no way of knowing who did the wrong thing here or what really happened. But I do know what I feel like I am involved in some sort of feud between two polycules, lasting several years at least, which is ridiculous and I hate it.
Even without the feud, I found it very off-putting that as soon as there was a problem between the person I was dating and myself her other partners immediately stepped in. One of them wanted to set up a meeting so that we could discuss the things I had been told and they could "take action". I had never met this other person before. She is cis, which is fine I guess but I am exclusively t4t and I really hate the idea of involving a random cis person in my relationship. Honestly it felt like I was getting emails from HR or something.
I'm not against being poly, or having an open relationship, or dating someone who is. But like it seems really weird and unfair that this person's other partners will immediately get involved when I haven't even met them before, and I don't have any other partners of my own at the moment.
I'm definitely done with this whole mess, and I hope to avoid these people in the future. But I imagine there are people here who have had good experiences with this type of thing. So like how is it supposed to work? Should I have met the other partners sooner? Should I not date someone when I'm not really interested in a relationship with their other parents? Idk

I do that exact thing, like making up really specific scenarios of how I could have transitioned the instant I turned 18. I don't think it's a good thing for me though. I didn't even realize I was trans at that point, so it wouldn't have ever happened.
I don't think it will really make much difference. Ive been on dev teams who use Jira, and even do all of the agile ceremonies, but are still super chill. If you're management is ok now it will probably stay that way.
Also most devs seem to be illiterate and can't write more than 3 sentences at a time. So when you write stories you can get tons of praise from everyone just be writing a couple of paragraphs that actually describe the problem.

I think most people absorb a puritan idea of "removed" from society. Even like liberals, queer people, and sex nerds (people into kink) will have a version of this. For the right, it's usually a very misogynistic idea about how female sexuality and anything gay is evil. And this is usually what makes conservatives want to quit porn, though sometimes they won't admit it and they'll talk about like their essence or whatever.
So like you don't need to quite porn for the right reasons, you can just do it. But maybe spend some time thinking why you want to do it, and if it's because of some idea of removed or shame then you should also think about it you really want to hold those ideas, because they will ultimately make you just as miserable as the porn did.

I texted a couple of my local trans friends about having some sort of friendsgiving thing the weekend before regular thanksgiving. I used to get invited to those in college and I miss them. Kind of to my surprise, everyone was really excited and like 3 people volunteered to help cook. I'm honestly so happy I have queer friends who I can recreate college with lol.
I recently got my passport changed. It was pretty easy besides being a bit expensive, I just bought all of the documents to a post office and had my new one in like 3 weeks.
I did have the court order, not sure if it can be done without. You could probably use your old birth certificate, the point of that is just to establish citizenship. Tho IMO you should change your birth certificate if your state makes it easy, it will potentially help avoid headaches in the future.
I think that "the economy" is both too complicated and too meaningless of a concept for anyone to actually understand, so people just absorb vibes from the media. The idea that a good economy is one where you, personally, are prosperous is pretty foreign. So very little will change for most trump supporters but by next summer they will be totally convinced that the economy is better that it has ever been.
Uh unless they actually dissolve the federal reserve and go back to the gold standard like it apparently says in project 2025. In that case it will literally cause the collapse of the US empire.

I second that everyone should go get it changed. Some companies will use a federal background check program when they hire you, and if there is a mismatch between social security record and other forms or ID it can be a problem that prevents you from starting work.
