A comment left by him on the video:

I will say I have a great wife now. We've been married for 18 years. No issues. She's not steeped in America's entitled culture. She's a Laotian immigrant who escaped Communism.

After the Communists conquered Laos in 1975, Wanda's mom and oldest sister planned the family's escape in 1978. This is a story similar to KILLING FIELDS.

Being the youngest daughter, Wanda went with her mom. Other family members took different routes out. The dad stayed in Laos.

Wanda and her mom made their escape through the jungle. Made it across the Mekong River to Thailand in the dead of night. Wanda and her mom got separated. Wanda (age 13) walked for 5 days and nights before reaching the refugee camp.

Stayed there for 18 months before making it to America, arriving in November of 1979 in San Francisco with 2 dresses and 1 pair of sandals.

This story is actually way more insane than this. This is just the outline.
I've never met a tougher more resilient person. Wanda's mom suffered a stroke soon after arriving in America. So Wanda essentially had to raise herself, though also had an older brother who became the father figure.

Wanda was put in 9th grade in Maryland, not knowing any English. She got through high school with a B average. Took some classes at Community college, including desktop publishing and typing classes.

She got hired by GEICO to do data entry and layout the corporate newsletter. She took more community college classes on how to be a legal secretary. She applied and was moved to GEICO's legal department.

She was "Employee of the Month" for the whole corporation 5 times.

On weekends, she worked as an assistant for a big realtor. She learned about real estate investing and started buying rental properties to rent out. She was doing very well -- on the way to getting rich before we met.

She mocks the victim mentality so many Americans have, who complain about how tough life is.

Again, thank you all for caring enough to comment.

This man is such an attention seeker oh my god. I'm barely invested in this.

Imagine being this woman, going through all of this to escape gommunism, just to get married to a rabid misogynist who runs up 60k on your credit cards to pay for his divorce

Also he was divorced in 2004 and he's still mad. He's so owned

Laos is pretty much the nicest and chillest place I've ever spent time. Comparing Laos's history to Cambodia's is really whack.
