    This comment is incredible. I really lack the vocabulary to explain how it makes me feel.

    There is just something about how half arsed it is and how it's presented as some sort of thought terminating got ya. As if a person from the 1950s not understanding modern day economics somehow means that all the things listed in the original comment aren't a problem any more.

    It's peak Reddit smugness.

      It's one thing to say that about someone from the middle ages, but the 1950s? A bunch of those people are still alive even! Hell, some of them are even in charge of a lot of modern economies.
