    You say that, but if you actually watched Spider-man you'd realize that Peter Parker is basically Lenin in his fight against the rise of fascism in the form of the green goblin, aka Voldemort. The movie was a great reflection of the rise of the proletariat against the bourgeoisie class and the need to incorporate the many different groups suffering under capitalism: hence the joining of the different Spider-mans from different worlds (as in, every group suffering under capitalism has it's own Lenin). Andrew Garfield Spider-man saving MJ is a reflection of different groups saving one another during the revolution against the tyrannical capitalists. And MJ and Ned? I mean come on, they're obviously an allusion to Marx and Engels. Spider-man choosing to get involved and save the villains when he didn't even have to is a reflection of him rising up against traditionalist narratives and is sending the message of "you have nothing to lose but your chains". It's hardly even subtext anymore, it's just text at this point.
