"I love the unironic use of the word “commie” as an insult. It is so painfully dated that it is nothing short of hilarious.

I imagine the person who says this comes home after a long day of hating minorities for existing, and then takes off a heavily starched button up shirt which reveals an undershirt named after the activity they are most fond of. After getting a few punches in, they demand a “stogie”, and a “brewski”, to whet their appetite for the dry ass roast their wife slaved away at making all day. Of course, they will make some comment about how the roast reminds them of how much they hate minorities, and that the wife would do well to stop watching some show/reading some book/talking to some neighbor and focus on making dry ass pieces of meat taste wetter. The kids stare at their plates and ask to be excused.

To wrap up their evening, they might teach their sons about being a proper womanizer, usually with some vague comment like “you need to fuck some girls, Johnny. I’m not raising a p*ssy. And they might teach their daughters about sexual repression, maybe with a vague comment like “and you better not fuck anyone, ever” (but probably would only convey that through a look and not actual words).

Knowing all is right in the world, they fall asleep, eagerly dreaming about the next chance they might get to shoot some “dirty hippies” when their national guard unit gets called in to an anti war protest on a college campus."

I wrote it. First draft.

Obviously, I'm depicting a cishet middle aged white man living in the suburbs in 1950's America. I feel like it needs more period specific phrases, like "stogie" but to describe other things like 'anti-war protest' or something.
