It's fun, but like all Paradox grand strategy games it's a work in progress. Crusader Kings plays more like an RPG in some ways and the new DLC centers on your character's relationships. If you have the Iberia DLC, play a campaign there because it also gives a lot of bonuses and flavor to friendship
