:gordon-ramsey-finally:

Other highlights from the Direct:

-Pikmin 4 announced

-Kirby's Return to Dreamland remake (top 3 Kirby game of all time imo)

-Goldeneye 007 coming to Switch N64 library WITH ONLINE PLAY, along with Mario Party 1-3 and Pokemon Stadium 1 + 2

After a series of really disappointing directs, this was pretty awesome

    Me, cheesing every temple puzzle

Zelda used to have real puzzles

I feel you though. I would like just one more "classic" zelda game on newer hardware. Maybe someone will do an overhaul mod of BOTW or something one day even if nintendo won't. :yea:

Honestly, while I'd love more 'traditional' temples, my biggest complaint is just how huge the world is, and how little there is to do in the overworld that's exciting. Like a lot of 'open world' games, the little collectables, 'crafting' farmables, ect. Just feel like busy work to me. Most people I've talked to that love the game love the open ended feel of messing around in the physics sandbox, but I dunno, it's cool, but I really only got like an hour of joy out of that portion of the game, which got me like 1% of the way through, and then just became tedious. Got through 2 of the temples before just deciding it wasn't for me.

Hey now, BOTW has real puzzles in it's four half-sized dungeons.

Really hoping they get away from the "level editor tileset" feeling of the shrines in the sequel. There's no reason you couldn't do better environmental puzzles in BOTW's engin, it was an explicit design choice to put all of that gameplay into the shrines and one they should walk back.
