Don't bother trying to appeal to the capitalists human side, he doesn't have one
I listened to an interview with this guy and he basically said that. There was no point in staying in the meeting since the rhetoric and the actions of the administration do not align. They would just make more empty promises and empty virtue signals.
"We see you, we hear you, no we will not stop the bomb shipments but your concerns are very concerning."
