Please don't reverse image search this original picture I just took. I made it myself and it was so good. I love that I included limes or whatever next to it and those little pieces of pepper on the side. Again, please, don't look this up. I just took it out of the oven and it's so good

I just want to pre-emptively disengage :avoheart: anyone who would tell me I stole this pic from the bbc website. Please don't go to the bbc website and look

My favorite part of coming is dumping a bunch of ingredients on the table before eating.

just reposting from the other thread:

someone created an alt to post a meat-heavy dish in c/food that they said theyd made and then it turned out that actually theyd just googled an old picture (and missed cutting all the watermark off oops), and were just pretending to have cooked it themselves to i guess epically own the vegans?

Everyone is really online and the vegan struggle session has further devolved into an adjacent struggle session with the following points:

      • Should non-vegan food posts be banned from /c/food?
      • How should the food CW/spoiler work when it's hard to tell with a lot of food if it's vegan?
      • Do we even need a /c/food? We have a dedicated Shrekposting comm that gets about as much traffic normally
      • Should people be required to list their recipe when they post their food?

It mostly comes down to vegans who want the comm to ban non-vegan posts versus people who do not want that, and both sides are equally intractable and dissatisfied with the spoiler solution.

    :chefs-kiss:

looks so delicious! and i really like your beautiful faux-aged timber table! 🥰

just as a serving suggestion: perhaps next time youre definitely personally photographing your food that you cooked yourself you could add some other sites watermark to the bottom and then forget to crop out the top of it

Looks awesome, you did a great job cooking that yourself!

I was much lazier in comparison and just decided to make some french fries from scratch: https://i.imgur.com/ra5cizA.jpg
