Ah I saw this when the original parts were released. Makes a lot of sense, honestly kind of surprised they haven't contracted any bigger studios to do bigger stuff. They could probably just make like a seasonal a year.
i think they do have somewhat limited funds, most seasonal anime has like a dozen different companies backing them these days
