Post your anthems! My first contribution is Johnny Adams improving an old Stones song significantly.

"Laten John Adams Jr. (January 5, 1932 – September 14, 1998),was an American blues, jazz and gospel singer, known as "The Tan Canary" for the multi-octave range of his singing voice, his swooping vocal mannerisms and falsetto. His biggest hits were his versions of "Release Me" and "Reconsider Me" in the late 1960s."

Yeah, the list isn't all about socialism, the theme is more working class expression and experiences. TBH most straight propaganda music doesn't have any soul or swing to me. But maybe there are exceptions?

I'm not sure what the difference is, tbh. Righteousness is great and def has it's place, but I think it helps if there's passion in it as well.

Dead Prez put it best, I reckon.

one thing 'bout music when it hit you feel no pain
White folks say it controls your brain
I know better than that, that's game
