    A lot of people shape their politics based on what they read online, and plenty of that translates to real world action. The fourth panel could just as easily read "why would every state actor with the capacity to influence the internet attempt to do so if it wasn't at all important?"

    It's good to have perspective on how most things are more important, and it's good to know what online stuff really doesn't matter (outdoor cat slapfights), but writing off the main channel of modern propaganda as nothing is a mistake.
