Damn so all those people were in one place? And people let them leave?

EDIT: Sorry if the joke wasn't clear, I meant all the politicians and kings gathered to cry over Lizzie

He was the first communist invited by the English monarchy.

He was very :both-sides: Took IMF loans, started 3rd world non-aligned movement.

That said the IMF loan thing is grossly overstated as a meme. When Tito died they accounted for something like 6% of the country's budget and came with no strings attached, under Milosevic they exploded to over 100x their previous size and started coming with market liberalization requirements. Yugo wasn't perfect but worker self management was IMO a legitimate path to socialism and much like the central planning of the USSR the people who built that system were betrayed by a generation of liberal monsters who got into the top.

This just in, England to invade all former Yugoslavian states in order to exact revenge for the offense Commander Tito exacted against the English queen from beyond the grave.

The peoples of the Balkans released a collective message saying they have enough vodka to keep the soldiers energized as they kick the limey bastards into the Mediterranean like the beans-on-toast-eating sea rats they are should they come knocking.

Reminds me of the rubbish metaphysical philosophical question of "if a tree in the woods fell and there's nobody around to observe it, did it make a sound?" But it's "if I die and am no longer around to observe the universe, does the universe keep existing?"

But for the british it's "if the queen is dead and no longer around to rule the empire, does the empire keep existing"

The answers are as follow: yes and yes because metaphysics is stupid idealist nonsense, and :ukkk:
