    :what-the-hell:

So what does this benefit exactly? I literally can't comprehend it, it seems like a really bad thing for everyone involved with the operation.

So what does this benefit exactly?

It benefits democrats in the very, very short term which is all they care about right now. Their entire focus is election day which is only 44 days away. The CDC is the Biden/dem medical propaganda arm. With each vile CDC action that goes counter to science, ethics and morality - the dems can push their "Covid is over!" narrative that much harder. They couldn't care less what happens after election day when we get an "unfortunate uptick" in covid. For them covid has become a disease of the unuseful. It's a disease of the poor and maga republicans.

Every dem should get a painful cattle prod-level electric shock when they use a word like uptick. And if medical professionals use it - the amperage should be double.

Biden taps his temple: "If you don't test - cases go down." Then Biden looks very confused, mumbles incoherently, and he does a old man shuffle at top speed to escape the media. He knows he made a huge mistake but he has no idea what it could be.

I want ice cream. Ice cream is good. It's cold. It's sweet. As my dad used to say 'Ice cream can solve any problem.' Did he say that? I don't even remember. But when I'm at a mic I tell that story. People like that story. Smiles. Idiots. Might as well be true. Are my lips moving? I hope not. That would be bad. But ice cream is good. Ice cream can solve any problem.

A worried aide rushes up to him: "Mr. President, we have an idea for some immediate 'cases go down' clean up. You're going to say you were joking. And—"

      "Vanilla!" roars Biden.

An assistant appears. She tells him "You're the new guy. Fuck. He's having an episode. You know what to do - right. Just take him by the right elbow - not the left - to the limo and while you're doing it keep saying 'Joey's gonna get ice cream.' "

"Um... What do I actually do? I thought that was a joke."

"Vanilla!" Biden roars again. They both stop and look at him. It seemed he was about to say it again but before he said anything he puffed out his cheeks and he didn't make a sound. She's even more concerned now. When he goes silent - he can erupt later like a volcano.

She stares right through the assistant. "Do what I just fucking told you. To the letter. Don't let him fall down - he's the president - but make it fast. Hurry. Or do you want to get fired your very first day?"

"Yes, mam. I mean, no mam." Biden is oddly rigid. The assistant starts to take him by the right elbow. She mouths the words to the assistant and he starts repeating them: "Joey's gonna get ice cream." They start moving away towards the exit.

Occasionally Biden replies "Joey likes ice cream. Ice cream can solve any problem."

She watches them walk away as they have their geriatric-assistant conversation and she wonders why she didn't go into Big Pharma instead.
