What is your favorite Linux-based operating system?
There is absolutely no fucking way his favorite linux-based operating system is Ubuntu
He said that because it's the one the writer had been told to give a try at some point by a nerdy acquaintance.
The writer googled "operating system not windows" and got one of those GPT-generated top X lists that have arbitrary categorization but Ubuntu was the first entry slash editor's choice
It’s 1999. You have a Dell Dimension XPS with a P133 processor and 16gb of RAM. You’ve just installed Slackware 7, are surfing the web using links and talking to people on EFnet using BitchX. You don’t know it right now but this is as good as life will ever get
16gb of ram in 1999, yeah I can believe that life was going really really well for you
Lmao it took me a moment there…of course I meant 16mb :hyperflush:
It just seems so unfathomably tiny now! :cool-bean:
Is this an actual line from the show? Was a laugh track played right after the delivery?
Is this an actual line from the show?
Yes
Was a laugh track played right after the delivery?
What do you think
my soul says no laugh track, because there isn't a joke. but my brain says yes, because bazinga!
"And you agreed to play D&D tonight too!"
uproarious laughter, studio set begins to collapse
This is how I talk. Especially when it's Halo night.
Debian stable with nonfree, backports, and flatpaks to fill in any gaps. Was using Ubuntu before it commited to snaps. I'm a big fan of Debian's stability, its familiarity (so much stuff is based on Debian), its popularity (means a deb is probably available for random software), and its community (slightly less insufferable FOSS tryhards).
Debian, but im using openSUSE because i ended up needing newer packages
does he really say that? honestly i think it fits his character, no offense to Ubuntu users.
