They, the evil com coms, put loud speakers outside :dean-frown:
and then played an audio recording telling people to stay inside. I thought millions of lives were important (the other coworker taking a smoke break def didn’t just say that their uncle died from Covid) but after hearing the facts I just can’t imagine the horror.
Speakers
Noises
I don’t know how I believe y’all
according to these people caring about people's lives is totalitarian
Good thing we only use our speakers for advertising. Couldn't imagine the horror of using them to save lives
When I lived in Brazil you'd have people driving around advertising stores or services through car loudspeakers. Not sure if this goes down anywhere in the USA tho
Reminds me of that scene in Blues Brothers, so maybe it differs from place to place. No way a suburb is going to put up with that though.
There's noise ordinances in suburbs I think, so maybe in cities they do it.
México. Nissans Tsurus with a rack on top usually go around announcing fairs w/e. Or "¡Fierro viejo que traiga!"
In civilized countries like the United States of America, loudspeakers are used to play loud music around places where homeless people gather, to discourage them from "loitering".
