The politics of social media is already so dogshit that I can't imagine it getting much worse. But the monetization angle on the platform is still wide open for degradation. We're still a few degrees of awful away from the early internet endless-ad-spam era.
I fully endorse Musk turning Twitter into some shitty website from 1993 that opens twelve extra windows on your phone and beings auto-downloading 5 GB of ad videos as soon as you click the half-invisible (X) at the top of the pop-up ad that blocks your login screen.
Even WeChat is scary. That shit should be state owned.
