Someone tell me what it was about. In particular, what does all the various symbolism mean, what are we supposed to take away from Mikage's arc, what's the deal with Kozue, and why did Nanami turn into a cow that one time.

Impossible difficulty: explain Miki's stopwatch.

no. it has queer overtones. all the characters are bisexual. one of the villains goes on a homophobic rant to his sister about how she can't fool around with girls and in the next episode has a threesome with 2 men. i mean, this is never explicitly stated, but it's as obvious as you can get without saying "these men are having sex with men, this woman is a lesbian, etc." the movie then is more explicit (both sexually and relationship wise) because it was a movie and was no longer restricted by the same standards used to judge an episode of pokemon. (no joke, aired on the same channel and almost the same timeslot as pokemon, just a different day)

you should definitely watch it, just know i once saw it described as content warning: everything, and that isn't entirely wrong. if you're curious about a potential trigger, just ask, or i can link you to a cw list
