Examples of Ukrainian Nazis and fascists, for the “buh Zeleski is a jew?!?!” people.

Examples of racism/euro-centrism during the Russia-Ukraine conflict

Add to the above list if you can, thank you.

Resources For Understanding The War Beyond The Bulletins

Defense Politics Asia's youtube channel and their map, who is an independent youtuber with a mostly neutral viewpoint.

Moon of Alabama, which tends to have good analysis (though also a couple bad takes here and there)

Understanding War and the Saker: neo-conservative sources but their reporting of the war (so far) seems to line up with reality better than most liberal sources.

Alexander Mercouris, who does daily videos on the conflict and, unlike most western analysts, has some degree of understanding on how war works. He is a reactionary, however.

On the ground: Patrick Lancaster, an independent journalist reporting in the Ukrainian warzones.

Unedited videos of Russian/Ukrainian press conferences and speeches.

Telegram Channels

Again, CW for anti-LGBT and racist, sexist, etc speech, as well as combat footage.

Tomorrow Was Sharivar 1401: Notes on the Iranian Uprisings

Over time, these protests have amounted to various modes of collective dis-identification with the social position individuals have been compelled to occupy—examples of what some theorists have called the “human strike,” in which one withdraws one’s participation from the demands of the social, political, and economic conditions of life. Put another way, what began as a wave of protests quickly transformed into a series of strikes originating outside the traditional points of production, organized by what can be termed “surplus life”—all those whose daily existence and social activity appear as superfluous in the eyes of the Iranian state. What is more, these human strikes by surplus life have become generalized struggles against the forms of indirect domination that are inherent to the production process and to the forms of direct domination that govern spaces of circulation, domesticity, and publicity. Strikes such as these are not simply organized in brute opposition to the circuits of production. Rather, they seek to “wildcat the totality”—a totality whose structural logic remains bound to the form-determinations of capitalist value.

Bullshit liberal gibberish, God forbid anyone offer a class analysis of Iranian politics

This shit isn't rocket science, the rural petie-bourgeosie landlord class supports the morality laws, the urban middle class does not, the urban working class (i.e. the majority of the population) can go either way on the laws but regardless support the government for concerte standard of living reasons, which means the urban middle class can never acquire a large enough support base to challenge the rich landlord class and their rural conservative power base

Ironically the "progressive" urban middle class could win over the urban working class on the topic of morality laws if they weren't so mindlessly hostile to the workers and constantly promising to privatize and sell off the country should the west get its way, a trait the urban elites share with their rural landlord rivials despite their social differences....hmm where have I seen that dynamic before?

what began as a wave of protests quickly transformed into a series of strikes originating outside the traditional points of production, organized by what can be termed “surplus life”

Never seen anyone describe a failed middle class student movement quite like this, but go off I guess nephew

Liberals really are complete incompetents when they try to ape our formatting language

Lots of BS pseudo-Marxist terms being flung around here. “Surplus Life” or “circuits of production” or “form-determination of capitalist value”. Bonus points for just throwing in “conditions” where it makes no sense. This is someone who wants to seem like a Marxist but has never read Marx. “Wildcat the totality” lol wtf does this mean.

Was it a “wildcat the totality” when Islamist militants overthrew Gaddafi with the aid of foreign imperialists? Or when petulant petty bourgeois Hong Kong protesters broke their city for some NED money?

This is complete non-Marxist pablum aping in pseudo-Marxist platitudes. Note the complete lack of materialist analysis
