tbh this is one place where accelerationism is probably good
b/c if they weren't doing this, they'd just be eating a 5% more plant-based, but still super-meat-heavy standard US diet, just with potatoes and a splash of veggies once in a while.
I'm betting that the early death caused by eating literal raw meat outweighs the extra carbon emissions from it. I also haven't seen a single one of these creatures which isn't a literal nazi
