Fire, so important to humans it is said to have come from the gods in most mythologies. These losers, cooking is for cucks.

Fire was literally considered sacred. A proverbeal Gift From The Gods. Entire religions were built up around the miracle of fire and all its benefits.

Imagine going up to the actual Sargon of Akkad and trying to explain why you don't cook your meat.

    :what-the-hell:

Carnivore diet is already horrific and lacking in stuff, but a raw carnivore diet? Wtf.

I honestly thought they disappeared a year or two ago, the raw meat eating people. I know some of them used to ferment their raw meat, yea...🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

Serious question because I don’t know anything about raw beans: why?

        • GorbinOutOverHere [comrade/them]

Most beans have proteins in them called lectins which are toxic unless neutralized via heat. I think this is one of the reasons most beans suggest a soak prior to cooking too, to help get rid of some of them. Some beans like lentils are pretty low in lectins though so it's not ALL beans. Kidney beans have a shitload of lectins in them. Also lectins can vary in how toxic they are, since ricin is a lectin and I'm pretty sure it's more toxic than what's found in kidney beans.

Lectin poisoning is pretty uncommon though because if you don't cook your beans they'll also be pretty unpalatable.

But yeah, that's why it's theoretically safer to eat raw meat, yeah it might have bacteria and stuff in it and it's gross as hell but raw beans are generally literally toxic

Used to be friends with a guy that went full crypto fash who was really into raw animal products. Remember him posting a bowl of slightly warmed ground cow with a raw egg cracked over the top, looked like vomit.

Yeah, but random beef mince and eggs you buy from most supermarkets aren't treated in the correct way to make them safe for raw consumption.

I think that most people are still surprised when they find out that sushi and sashimi fish isn't just exceedingly fresh, but also frozen for a set time at a set temperature to kill parasites.

If it's fresh, it ain't frozen.

Freezing bursts the cell walls of the muscle tissue as water expands. This is why people make such a to-do about fresh seafood, pouring screaming animals alive into boiling water and such.

Yeah my wording was a bit off. I mean that people think that the reason you can eat sushi raw is because it's fresh. The actual reason is that most types of fish are flash frozen to kill parasites before serving as sushi or sashimi.

lmao "how do you think some vegans thrive on vegan diet for years?"

Well for one, they’re brainwashed into believing vegetables are good and filling so they’ll feel good about themselves and they’ll think it’s doing something good.. like a placebo in some way.

Two, they have fake cheeses and meats to satisfy the animal cravings so they’re fine eating that lol.

Three, their brains are shrinking from the diet so most don’t even see the malnutrition happening in themselves, anything wrong that happens they’ll mostly assume it’s just a “detox”

The euphoric feelings I get from raw organs/animal products just make me feel sorry for the vegans because of how much they’re just missing out on , it’s the most depressing diet in the world.

hard to believe this whole sub isnt just a vcj bit

Very few vegans start off as vegans from childhood. So at the very least they are in their twenties when they become vegan, having had all their life on an omnivore diet previously.

The human body is very resilient. So people can go many years, even decades, living off their reserves gained from their non-vegan years.

“Reserves”?? Reserves of what :agony-shivering: I’d love to know what magical substance (which you can only get from raw meat) this idiot thinks can be reserved in the body for decades. Radiation?

this dipshit is probably confusedly thinking of :b12:, which im told your body does keep enough reserves stored to last a few years before you have real deficiency issues if you go vegan and never supplement (which is why those celebrity exvegans who have the sob stories of "i went vegan for a week and died from lack of b12" are so full of shit). the irony also being that most b12 in animal products comes from supplements fed to the animals anyway

The human body is very resilient.

imagine saying this and not thinking it raises just a couple of red flags that your diet is constantly making you shit blood and putting you in the hospital for bacterial infections
