There should just be a test where you spit in a vial and mail it off and then you get results back in 4-6 weeks saying what gender you truly are. C'mon eggheads it can't be that hard and this ragged hole torn in my identity ain't closing up any time soon

Probably just gonna have to go to therapy like a rube >:(

I want a catalogue where I can flip through a bunch of genders and be like “that one looks tasty”. The closest I’ve gotten is TikTok.

If you're seriously questioning and if your place has any kind of gatekeeping around gender-affirming care, you should absolutely find a therapist as early as possible. Not only will that help you figure things out, once you do have figured things out you may want to make the next move quickly and then you'll run into restrictions like "getting that massive, massive dysphoria trigger removed requires that you've seen a therapist for a year" or smth like that.

The problem here is finding a therapist that is trans friendly and has no hangups about enbies. Local trans help organisations may be able to help you with that, there could also be online lists.

Yeah I searched for therapists taking my insurance and found a few promising results. All that remains is actually setting things up, which is actually the harder part, especially now that I'm working full time :omori-miserable:
