I moved to the US from India when I had the chance because the working culture is atrocious in India. Colonization probably influenced how this culture came about.
But India always had strong hierarchies (like the caste system) so maybe it would've sucked anyways if it became a capitalist country without colonization
The revolutionary and fascist potential in India right now is terrifying but also kind of uplifting in a weird way. If a country of over a billion people goes communist that would be a major weeks where decades happen moment.
I imagine Indians on Twitter are significantly wealthier than average, and the self selection of having the flag in your name probably skews more right wing as well.

Nope, Marxist Leninist. There is a pretty good Maoist faction in the north, but they are underground and not very powerful.
