I've heard from a lot of people that they knew their gender identity by the time they were like six. Obviously not everyone, but it happens. Same thing with knowing if you're gay or not, a lot of kids figure out who they're attracted to well before puberty.
I had naughty ideas about my crushes pretty much as soon as I had crushes. I didn't know how sex worked, at all, but I thought they were neat all over and wanted to see more of them, touch being a bonus to imagine.

Kids have no gender identity and also I will force my kids to have a specific gender identity.
I mean they're being disingenuous. They're going to ban transitioning when you're an adult, too.
Barely even a prediction, given that Florida used handwringing over children to ban transitioning for adults on Medicaid

I figured things out regarding my identity and what I was attracted to before I knew how my body worked. I think I was... 5?
Yeah, I think I was like 7 when I had my first crush, on one of my sisters friends who was like 19 at the time.
Obviously nothing sexual about it at all at that age, I just knew she was the best thing ever lol

I had an inkling of an idea I was trans before I was 11 but it didn't matter at all to me until puberty started then I turned into a suicidal zombie
