    Wasn't the first clip of him being escorted-in from a couple of days prior? And the second clip is clearly more of a "take a seat" gesture, not to mention every single other person in the shot is also still standing, Xi included. Not to say that the Western narrative isn't also unconvincing. They say it's all about Xi sending a message that if you speak out against him, he has such control that he can straight up remove you in the middle of the committee, but then they haven't provided a single example of Hu actually saying anything against the party or it's objectives.

    I don't think anyone has a straight answer as to what happened, and frankly I don't like the pro-China commentators making it out like it's so obvious. Just say you don't know. Maybe it is the case that he needed assistance, or maybe it is politics. It's not the end of the world if it is politics. Why do I only have the option of getting my news from the CIA or blindingly pro-CPC sources?
